What is the difference between these and the first generation? I have the first gen, would it be worth upgrading to gen 2?

1st gen DAMA: 5500K, up to 30% more brightness, 2-year warranty.
2nd gen DAMA: 5000K pure white color, up to 50% more brightness, 2-year warranty, and mire quality development was made.
If your 1st gen DAMA bulbs work fine, it would not be necessary to change bulbs but if you want slightly more brightness and whiter color balance with less blue to it, it would be up to you.

Yes. the current generation has a 6000K color temperature.
In your findings, how does this compare in real world to the D3S: Philips 5000K White Vision HID? Price is better here of course but color is same and both claim to be brighter. But different amounts. The "up to x times brighter " can always be misleading on bulbs How many lumens? Any help would be appreciated.

DAMA 5000K bulbs do give slightly whiter color compared to Philips WHV2.
WHV2's are rated for up to 120% more brightness than standard stock, whereas DAMA gives up to 50% more brightness than stock.
WHV2 wins for brightness.

D3S is the correct HID bulb size for the 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio equipped with HID headlights. The vehicles has Bi Xenon headlight assembly. Bi-Xenon headlight assembly is a function which uses one set of bulbs for both high and low beams.

My son got a pair of DAMA KUV D3S for my Jeep and installed the bulbs last night. I can finally drive at night with comfort. The old bulbs were just too dim, and needed to change. The price was low, so I was a bit wary of replacing DAMA with the 66340HBI that was in my Jeep, but turned out to be a good buy.

Nicely priced D3S HID bulbs. The bulbs work great too. The 6000K white light really stands out.

This is a sleeper. I bought some cheap D3S HID bulbs from Amazon, eBay with Transformer images, the bulb being dunked in water, up to 1 million brightness and all, but the common thing at the end of the day for all these bulbs is that they sucked. Died after a few months or the color was awful. I found HID Concept on YouTube, and wanted to buy Philips or Osram D3S bulbs, but the price for DAMA HID bulbs was too good to pass up, so I got a pair. First, the color is great. Nice 6000K white color, but I love the brightness. That being said, I read about the replacement warranty and the product seems to be backed by a legit company.

Best upgrade for my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was hesitant about trying a new brand, but these DAMA D3S bulbs are incredibly bright and the throw distance is impressive. Installation was a direct fit. If you do a lot of night driving on backroads, these are a game-changer for safety.

DAMA D3S bulbs

I've tried some D3S bulbs from eBay with quite a disappointment. One set was flickering, One set had different color from the other bulb, and the cheapest set just didn't work. I read some good things about DAMA, and saw their products in Amazon as well. I came directly to HID concept and got a set of DAMA D3S Kanji Ultimate Vision. Very nice color. Whiter than the stock D3S, and I think the bulbs are actually brighter than stock too. Add the good price and fast shipping, I think DAMA D3S is a good deal.
