This ballast will not fit or convert models equipped with standard halogen bulbs or aftermarket LED headlights. (Note: Do not confuse this 12-pin LAD5G ballast with the 4-pin LAD5GL ballast used on later vehicle years). Because headlight assemblies can vary by trim and manufacturing date, HID Concept strongly recommends removing and visually verifying the part number and connector pin count on your original ballast before placing an order.

Your original shipping cost will be deducted from the refundable amount if you use the promotional free shipping code. All refunds must be issued back to the original payment method. Product may be exchanged if they are in NEW/ unopened condition with the UNOPENED original package within 30 days of delivery. I have an 04 Saab 9-5 aero and by everything I’m reading, ( part number, manufacturer, and wattage) this should work for my car. It’s not on the list for what it works for. Would this work for my Saab? If it does, I’ll by several pairs as parts are hard to find sometimes.
The Valeo LAD5G is the original (OEM) ballast for the 2004 SAAB 9-5 with HID headlights. While our listing is an aftermarket version, it is schematically identical to your original ballast.

Hi! My question is basically the same as the already mentioned; Do these work with Jaguar X350 with auto levelling headlights? Your answer seems to be that the ballast has nothing to do with auto levelling, but I´ve been told otherwise from an OEM Valeo dealer in France. So, what should I belive in? Who tells the truht?
Turth is hard to come by, but HID ballast controller's function is to regulate the voltage flow fro the alternator power source to the HID bulb. The HID ballast controller does not control any mechanical function of the vehicles, including headlight leveling.
There is a seperate module that controls the headlight leveling, and that is what the OEM Valeo dealer is refering to. We,re not sure, but Valeo makes several vehicle parts, and may also make the leveling unit.
Anyway, the unit part number for headlight control unit, leveling is C2D36065.

Do these work with a 2005 Jaguar XJR with auto leveling headlights?
HID ballast and Auto leveling are seperate entity, so it does not have any relevence.
However, with Jaguar, this ballast is only for up to VIN # G40555 and under (2003~2005)
