Application Note: LED bulbs from all brands are not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and are not street legal in the USA. Currently, LED bulbs are only legal in the USA for Fog Light use. LED bulbs are legal for off-road use in ATV, snowmobile, and off-road racing use. International law and regulations vary by country.

Upgrade your Fog lights to LED

Osram 6000K Cool White Ice Blue LED fog light bulbs can be used as a direct (plug and play) replacement bulb if you currently use H8, H11, or H16 Halogen light bulbs on your Foglight.
Osram Cool White Ice Blue LED light bulbs offer intense bright pure white color with up to 50% more light (2400 lm).  On top of that, unlike your stock standard Halogen light bulbs, Osram LED lasts longer (estimated 12 years of lifespan) than most vehicles.  It is the perfect time to color match your fog light to your HID or LED Headlights without any modification involved.

Light Emitting Diode (LED)

LED technology is the latest Trends in the Automotive lighting industry.
Due to its high efficiency and styling freedom, most automakers are now switching to LEDs with their newer models to make their brand stand out with their own characteristics.

    • Will these lights cause errors in 2014 VW Jetta GLI

We haven't had a chance to test-fit on 2014 Jetta GLI specifically but we tried them on many other vehicles including 2013+ Porsche, VW, Audi to confirm that it did not trigger error message.

    • I am trying to choose between the H8 Philips Ultinon LED or these Osram H8 LED's 65219CW. I noticed that the 3 led's in the Osrams are in a horizontal pattern while the Philips match the pattern of halogen filament. I wonder which one will produce more of a stock-like beam. Does anyone have input on this? Tests, pictures, videos?

They are both designed to produce correct beam pattern just like your stock with its curved reflection body design that controls beam pattern.
