Compatibility Note
Confirm your vehicle's factory bulb style and electrical system traits before ordering. CANbus monitoring systems vary greatly across manufacturers. While common on European brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen, bulb monitoring systems are also used on select domestic and import vehicles from Dodge, RAM, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, and Lexus. This decoder is explicitly designed for 9005/9006 2-pin plug configurations and cannot be used with other bulb footprints (such as H4 or H11). Because individual vehicle electronic control units (ECUs) process circuit data differently, no single decoder can resolve 100% of custom configuration conflicts.

Installation Information
1. Disconnect Factory Harness: Ensure vehicle is off.
Locate the factory 2-pin 9005/HB3 or 9006/HB4 connector at the lighting assembly and disconnect it from your current bulb or LED driver input.
2. Connect Decoder Male Plug: Insert into vehicle wiring.
Align the 2 pins on the DAMA decoder's male connector plug and push it into the vehicle's factory female headlight harness socket until seated.
3. Connect Decoder Female Plug: Attach to LED bulb.
Plug the female 2-slot receiving socket of the DAMA decoder directly into the male input plug of your aftermarket 9005/9006 LED bulb or driver ballast.
4. Secure the Module: Mount securely.
Mount the inline decoder housing away from moving parts. Use zip ties or mounting tape to position the wiring cleanly within the engine bay.
Installation Warning: Some decoder modules may become warm during operation. Avoid mounting them directly against heat-sensitive plastic components, electrical lines, or fluid paths. Never wrap the modules tightly in insulating plastic tape or allow them to hang loosely inside the engine bay.

Return
We will accept returns for a refund or exchange on products in NEW/ unopened condition with the UNOPENED original package within 30 days of delivery. All returns without an exchange are subject to a 15% restocking fee without exception. The customer would be responsible for return shipping unless the reason for the return was our mistake which we will send you the pre-paid shipping label for. Your original shipping cost will be deducted from the refundable amount if you use the promotional free shipping code. All refunds must be issued back to the original payment method. We will NOT be able to process your return if your RMA number is not included with your product. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process the return upon receipt.
We reserve the right to deny/ refuse the return if your return does not meet the criteria stated above.
Exchange
Product may be exchanged if they are in NEW/ unopened condition with the UNOPENED original package within 30 days of delivery. Customer is responsible for shipping cost to and from our warehouse unless exchange is required by our mistake which we will cover all the shipping costs. You will not be able to re-use any promotional free shipping code if you have already used them on your original purchase.
Refund
Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your refund once we receive your returned product. I have a 2004 Nissan Xterra that was factory equipped with halogen bulb fog lights which I would like to change over to LED type lighting. I am specifically looking for this particular type of adapter to go in between the original harness connector and the bulb/light itself. I believe the original bulbs are #899(B1) but am not 100% sure. Will this unit work for my application or if not, do you have one that will and what is the part number? I am also looking for a similar type of extension connector shown except without the resistor (an extension with both male and female connectors -OR- a pigtail extension with just the male end connector) that will work in my application. If you have either or both available, I would like your part number(s) on those as well. Please let me know at your earliest opportunity. Thanks.
2004 Xterra uses 9007 halogen bulbs.
Unfortunately, we do not have any adapter for this bulb type. -
I bought some led headlights my lights fligger on and off will that harness work on my 2016 Jeep compass
The low beam size for the 2016 Jeep Compass is H11, so you would need the H11 LED decoder.

Now, the flickering issues can be few things and the wire harness could be one of the causes. The decoder is to eliminate any possible error message on your dashboard and/or hyper flash issues. If your LED bulbs are literally flickering on and off, connecting the decoder may or may not help.
