Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
Do these have a resistor in the cable like the 12834UNIX2 white version ?
If you are referring to driver module, yes it has driver module.
What year and model of vehicle do you have? We can check if you would need resistor to avoid getting error message or flickering issue if that's what you are concerned about.
Would I need a resistor for a 2015 VW golf sportwagen
We haven't tried it on 'sportwagen' trim level but we had no issue when we installed on GTI.
I am considering buying the Philips H16/H8/H11 LED Fog light bulb (12793UNIX2) for my 2016 4Runner. Would I encounter the error message/flickering issue mentioned in your information on this bulb type? Please advise. Thanks.
These LED lights do not trigger error message on your 4runner.
I already purchased from you the H4 PHILIPS X-treme Ultinon LED Bulbs 12953BWX2 Hi/Low Beam 6000K. They work great!! Now, I would like to buy the H8/H11/H16 - Philips LED Golden Yellow 2700K 12793UNIX2 Kit (Pack of 2) Fog Light bulbs for my 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL. Would I have any hyper flash, flickering issues or error messages that you mentioned in your description? Thank you.
Sorry for the delayed response. The lights would work jsut fine on your Honda Ridgeine.
Interested in these for my 2011 Lexus RX 350. Will these cause an error message? Also, due to these being LED in a halogen housing, will the light be scattered all over the place due to not being in proper alignment with the reflector? I would love to have these, but if the beam pattern would remain better with halogen, I will stick with halogen. I'm also considering the night breaker laser d4s for my bixenon
There will be no error message. I assume that you wish to use LED's on your fog lights. Philips LED's have curved reflector body on its body of light, to give as close beam pattern as how halogen lights would work, which is one of reasons why Philips H11 LED's has been DOT certified. Therefore, it would not be blinding any oncoming traffic. NBL D4S would be good option for brightness increase.
