I originally had the Philips X-Treme Vision +50%, been running them for about 2 years in my Audi A5 and still very impressive, but I wanted to give the gen2 bulbs a try to see if I see a difference. Initially, first start up, the bulbs did appear yellow, but they quickly reached their specified temperature, in just 7 hours of use my camera was reading 5100K per bulb, so a bit higher than the 4800K advertised but I didn't mind. The brightness does seem a bit brighter than the previous X-Treme bulbs, however the hot spot of the beam seems to be more uniform than the X-Treme 50% bulbs, which I like. Also, they approach full brightness quick when first turned on, almost instant white light, pretty impressed, maybe a circuitry enhancement. Overall I liked the 50% bulbs so these 150% ones are just better.
